When using brush

• add only -one brush stroke- at a time to save CPU
• select pin - continue mask editing, “delete” key to erase changes
• can change brush color
• automask button - tries to limit change areas
• sharpening advice: “Typically the best option for sharpening an image with the Adjustment Brush is to increase the Clarity and Sharpness amounts slightly and use high Feather and low Flow amounts.”

• Ctrl + Drag - to move photos around in print module grids, etc
• Ctrl + D - Deselect photos (if you have many selected)
• g - back to library grid view
• l - cycle lights out modes (Ctrl + Shft + l = lights dim)
• f - cycle full screen modes
  • Ctrl + Shft + f = full screen/no panels
  • Ctrl + Alt + f = normal view
• t - show/hide toolbar
• tab - hide/show side panel
• shift + tab - hide/show all panels
  • Ctrl + LeftClick - close all panels, Alt + LeftClick - solo panel mode
• (ctrl) i - show info overlay (ctrl + j = options)
• ctrl + / - lightroom shortcuts for module
• ctrl + alt + 1/5 - window module menu
• ctrl + ‘ - create virtual copy
• ctrl + n - create new snapshot (of editing)

  • b - add image to QC
  • ctrl + b - show QC only

• ctrl + backspace - delete all rejected photos, remove from desk and virtual copies

• R - crop
• N - spot removal
• M - graduated filter
• K - brush adjustment

• Y - before-after side by side
• V - black and white
• W - white balance picker
• J - show clipping highlights/darks
• space - (hold) to grab picture and move around

• Color select - can select ANY color on screen, even outside of LR!

• o - overlay mode, red brush quick mask mode right away (shft + o to change colors)
• alt - change to erase mode
• delete - when local pin selected to erase changes
• h - to hide/show the “pins” for local adjustments
