• Dates: Thur Aug 31, Fri-Sun Sept 1-3 (core days 1)), Mon Sept 4 (Labor Day)
• Plan: Wilderness Trekking/Hiking/Backpacking/Camping (adventure) and Wine
• Location: Looking at either Big Sur or the Sierras

• Permits: Campfire - free, No Fees in Los Padres NF north of SLO or here, may incur parking fee for some lots (big 5 if needed)

  • Campsites in Los Padres artifical
  • Pine Ridge Trail Report
  • Salmon Creek waterfall
  • Bottchers Gap

• Brian W: I’d like 3-4 days and 30-50 miles, with great views for photography, and lots of fun. Could head out Thur afternoon (maybe earlier? if no class), start for sure by Friday morning, come back for church on Sunday afternoon (5pm). May head back out again for an overnighter?
