G16-G17 Carmel Valley - 80 mile loop starting and ending at Laguna Seca. Take Laurales Rd (G-20) to Carmel Valley Rd (G-16) all the way to Arroyo Seco Rd (G-17). Stops in Carmel Valley (15m), Greenfield (50m), Soledad (55m), Gonzales (65-67m), and possibly Salinas.

Drive Hwy 25/Airline Hwy down south of Hollister, past Pinnacles National Monument, (could try rd to King City) at Hwy 198 turns into Peach Tree Rd, continue South to Indian Valley Rd... turn RIGHT onto Hare Canyon Rd for Lake San Antonio/Nacimentio Reservior/Camp Roberts... (San Miguel may be neat small town? old adobe, mission st) or cont. South on N. River Road to Paso Robles. Hwy 101 continues on to San Luis Obispo.
