Game “99” - played: Dec 24, 2005 at Gary & Jane Dubas’ house with 10 players

1. mix 2 decks (of different design for ease of resorting)
2. each player gets three quarters
   1. last one remaining with a quarter wins
3. deal 3 cards to each player, in default clockwise rotation
   1. remaining cards split into piles and one turned face up to start
4. card values:
   1. 4: reverse
   2. 9: skip
   3. 10: -10
   4. Joker: 99
   5. all others: face value and royalty is 10, Ace is 1
5. play cards onto start card, each one calling out the new value
6. play up to value “99” without going over
7. whoever cannot play gives up a quarter → shuffle and redeal the cards
